The Blues
I'm talking about music folks,I don't know why but at the moment I am yearning to just chill back and relax and listen to blues music. Something about this genre just makes you want to forget everything else and just enjoy the song. In my own experience the blues have always been my source of relaxation music and top it off with a good cup of joe than nothing else matters for a good few hours.Anyways this is just a short post of letting you know what I am doing the moment.Cheers and relax!
Imperfections (materialistic perpective) in one's self
Perfection itself is imperfection.
Vladimir Horowitz
The fact of storytelling hints at a fundamental human unease, hints at human imperfection. Where there is perfection there is no story to tell.
Ben Okri
First of all this is an opinion on the young these days who tend to give up their struggle with imperfections and try copying other people to fill in that gap of imperfectness.Time and time again I see the young trying to be an iconic celebrity (not as in look up to but as in really copying their worshiped icon 100%). Some individuals also then to be overly fashion whores (yes and I am not bleeping the word) and will feel depressed or get overly dramatic if they do not get the latest trend in fashion or cosmetics. These type of people get on my nerves cause they attract lots of sales promoter trying to sell me in-trend stuff saying the cliche line of "It's the in thing, everybody MUST have one" and push the stuff further into my view or they block my path. Usually I'd say politely no thank you if I'm in a good mood, if not you will get the regular "Go F&*K yourself and have a nice day" (yes I have done it multiple times folks).This has been going on since I was a kid that I'm guessing till I kick the bucket I'll be hating certain fashion-wear, cosmetics and beauty products and perfumes (If I do end up in Hell I'll be sure to bring some stuff in those categories to burn with me as well).
Secondly, there's also the issue of people wanting a dream body shape or weight, which is fine BUT not when you do it the wrong way.Plastic surgery for self indulgence is to me just wrong, why the hell would you do something like that just to make your "assets bigger" or your tummy trimmer where you know it is gonna hurt like hell and there can be complications. Although I must say it will be funny to see a post mortem report report saying a lady/gent died from enlarging their assets or getting their tummy tucked.....nevertheless in seriousness, I don't think they would feel the sense of gratification of getting their ideal body weight by plastic surgery in comparison to working out for it.
Thirdly, if we mimick another individuals personality and literally copy their traits cause people like it and plug our own up inside, would you not lose a sense of who you are? If you erase the imperfect part of your personality out by copying a positive trait instead of working to overcome your own negative one then is it not like you are white washing a layer of someone's personality over your own? I don't get why sometimes people tend to get upset over the smallest incident's but then again I don't tell them to erase that trait from their life. Your own personality is like key-points for your own identity, work to overcome your flaws but never stamp another person's personality over your negative ones.Let's face it if you are perfect then what is the point of getting satisfaction,gratification, motivation or even a sense of achievement in your daily life if you are not being yourself?
Finally, I would like to leave you guys with a few more questions, Is it worth it to spend all that cash when you know that in the future you will need it urgently?
Will you regret trying to be perfect by doing all of the above instead of working on dealing with your own imperfections? Do you think that you would still know who you really are if you erase your imperfections? That's something to ponder on about, later's.

Trust

What is the definition of trust? How do we perceive it? a simple way of putting it is:
" In a social context, trust has several connotations.The typical definition of trust follows the general intuition about trust and contains such elements as:
the willingness of one party (trustor) to be vulnerable to the actions of another party (trustee);
reasonable expectation (confidence) of the trustor that the trustee will behave in a way beneficial to the trustor;
risk of harm to the trustor if the trustee will not behave accordingly; and
the absence of trustor's enforcement or control over actions performed by the trustee."
- wikipedia
These days some people tend to just follow what the majority think and not what is in their hearts. Let's face it based on our history as humans the trust we put on some people can tend to be harmful even deadly by some accounts (historical war strategies,football tactics,financial advise, etc).I believe it is okay to have some form of doubt when making a decision based on the trusts of others since sometimes those decisions can be the wrong one.
Which one would you prefer? being wrong by your own decisions or by influence of others and learning from it? or hating yourself and wishing you would have stood your ground instead of following others and being resentful of it? In my opinion, I think people start playing the "blaming game" instead of the first option above. Human beings sometimes tend to start blaming others instead of one's self first.Plus we tend to start our quarrels with the party at fault before trying to fix the predicament we are in (unless it is the other parties fault and you have no remedy for your predicament then by all means get your boxing gloves on!)
Let's face it, some human beings are manipulative and tend to use those who trust them just to get what they want and then ditch their fellow trustees. One should always cherish the trusting bonds we have on each other, I mean doesn't religious teachings actually teach us to come clean and be completely honest with our intentions and actions? (good ones).Pretty sure that the world will be in a better state diplomatic wise if it were to happen.
All I can say is that it is actually okay to have doubts, for within those doubts are some ideas you can use to find ways to solve your problems if those you trust goes and screws you over.Be broad minded and open yourself to others and be honest with each other,that should achieve at least some minimal level of harmony in the community.Loyalty should not be misused for evil deeds, if possible maybe change your ways before someone else does it to you and let you taste your own poison.Anyways I'm sorry if this post is sensitive to any readers, this is just my opinion and not me preaching saying to follow;just expressing my thoughts that's all. Anyways till next time, laters folks.
