Short story

First of all, this is based on a true experience in my life that happened way back when I was a teenager with my best buddies. This story is meant as a joke and should be taken seriously by any party as we all did not intend to do what we did (honestly we didn’t!).The names of the characters have also been changed as I’ll probably get an earful for this and I am not going to take chances for getting sued (as if).

THE TALE OF THREE DOUCHEBAGS

EPILOGUE
This is a story about four dudes trying to enjoy their youth during what some people may call their “sweet sixteen” .For your information neither one of the main characters ever had the chance to dabble into this folklore (for us anyway) cause we were all just trying to have fun and goof off like regulars kids from the block, well at least three out of four were from the same block and one was still from the same state so never mind.

CHAPTER 1: PLANNING

I was woken by a phone call, at first thought i was thinking “who the hell would want to bother me during semester break?” well I finally got my lazy ass up and looked at my nokia 3315 cellphone (old school rocks for readers info). It was one of my best bud Kecik , at first you know you have the tendency to listen to your conscience thinking? You know when the angel on your right tells you to instantly pick up the phone and tend to your friend while the devil on your left tells you otherwise? Well this was one of those moments......

After 15 minutes of persistent calling I finally answered the call, “ Yo dude what the hell? Been trying to reach you” said Kecik, “Patience is virtue, just wanted to test if you had any” I cockily replied drowsily.”F%^k man I’m effing bored wanna go hang out at mid valley or something tomorrow? Dude did you just wake up?”. “ For your second question brilliant deduction Holmes, and for your first who else is going?”. “ I heard that both A and H are also on for the trip, Midvalley tickles your fancy? (FYI this was when Midvalley was the it place in Malaysia)?”. “Anywhere’s fine dude just let me know what time are we going? How do we get there and what are we going to do there?”. “Well we are gonna meet up at the KTM at 9 am and probably decide on what to do there, wing it and see man”. “Sh^te, couldn’t you guys pick an earlier time? It’s the holidays for pete sakes!”. “F&*k man are you in or are you out? Don’t have to be a wuss about it” said kecik in an irritated tone. “Fine I’m in, tell the lads I’ll see them tomorrow”. “Alright dude laters”. I didn’t even bother to reply and just hung up and continued to try and catch a few more minutes of sleep, but then my cellphone rings again, this time a text from A and H asking about tomorrows plan....there goes my sleep.

CHAPTER 2: LAST MINUTE DILEMMA

It’s 8.45 am in the morning of D-Day.....and where the hell is everybody? I’ve been up on my ass since 7.00 am on my vacation which I find a miraculous achievement, before I could start cursing at the cats that are keeping me company I see Kecik at my front gate.”Yo dude your ready early, whatever happened to the term ‘the coolest dude is always late’ crap you brought back from the west?”. “Dude i’ve been back for a while, consider Malaysia my second home” I said with a grin on my face. We both laughed at our remarks and that eased my temper a bit.” Anyways A is with H and they told us to meet them at the KTM”. To tell you the truth, during those days I hated` last minute change of plans but screw it I’m not going to let it spoil my day, especially not today when I get the chance to hang out with my amigos.”Fine let’s catch a cab before we hear the whining from those two”.

For what seems like forever (actually was 30 mins) we finally managed to get a cab and arrive at the KTM station.”Dudes you’re late” said a voice from the terminal while me and Kecik were buying our tickets.”It’s Malaysia A, try being on time and I’ll buy you a drink” I said without even looking at the guy since his voice is already all to familiar for me.”Hahaha well that’s true, anyways how’ve you been man how’s SAAS (my old high school) treating you?”. “ As always they are still trying to Malaysianize me and I’m still stuck with the nickname Mat Salleh Import”. “Well dude you’ve got to fix your BM at some point don’t you?”. “Says the dude who got lower marks for it in PMR than me than I guess I should take that seriously”. We both chuckled at our little pissy contest and headed to the platform where H was already waiting. “Dudes whatup? How’s life treating you?” said H. “Could have been better, my mum is still balling at me for taking too much time on the PC” said Kecik.”Well considering that you have been on myspace (facebook wasn’t around yet) and chatting on YM and playing games till dawn I guess it’s kinda a suprise that your mum is pissed” I said in a sarcastic tone. “But then again my mum has been hounding my ass about me spending my precious time away on the ps2 so you and I are on the same boat”. “Dudes we could always play x-box at my house in Damansara you know?” H interrupted. We three looked at him and nearly wanted to kiss him for giving us the chance to touch his x-box 360,as back then it was the holy grail of gaming.

The train to Sentul arrived and we fought our way in given that it’s a weekday and everyone was still in a rush to get to work.”Dudes....I’ve got a confession” said A in a unsure tone.”Don’t tell me your gay?” said kecik.” You’re pregnant?” said H. “You’re bisexual? “ I said just to complete the pun. “F@#k all of you” said A while laughing. “I’m actually meeting up with someone in Mid”. “Damn dude you should have told us you were going on a date, no way are we going to bother you and your girlfriend being lovey dovey” said Kecik as the signal for doors shutting came on. “Crap dude I thought we were bro’s “I said with my usual joker face.”You guys don’t have to worry, she’s bringing along three of her friends to be your dates” said A. At first we thought he was pulling our legs but then we realised he wasn’t and our jaws dropped, and the KTM doors rammed shut.

CHAPTER 3: DUMPEE NOT DUMPER

After changing trains at KL Sentral and a long time to regain our senses from A’s shocking revelation during the beginning of our journey we finally arrived on location. There it was, a thing of beauty a humongous mall all for us to explore (1 Utama New Wing was unheard of back then). Both Kecik and H dragged me aside for a group meeting.”Dude what the hell are we gonna do? I didn’t sign up for this sh*t” said Kecik in a protesting manner.”Well you said we were going to wing it and see, look what that got us into, besides neither you nor I have ever dated before!” I said nervously.”You guys are over reacting, chill and we’ll figure something out” said H as he is in relationship (at that time) I think he doesn’t comprehend the term ‘virgin to dating or relationships’ status hanging on both me and Kecik’s head.”How about we ditch the girls and enjoy ourselves?” said H .After careful deliberation and by god trying to get my head away from thinking that it goes against a gentlemen’s code of ethics (iI know it’s cheesy so shut it) we decided to tell the girl’s that we’ll go our way and they can do whatever they want on their own without us raining on their parade.

We had to wait for another forty-five minutes before the girls showed up so we ended up touring the place and having simple conversations along the way until finally the girl’s arrived. “Alright just go with the plan, and guys lightened up will ya?” said H. “We’re fine” I replied for me and Kecik while we were sweating like mad and our faces were pale as hell. The girls entered a shop and A and his girlfriend parted ways leaving us with her friends.Minutes go by felt like hours and me and Kecik were seriously tense and would rather go watch a chick flick then endure this. I tried to imagine ourselves cooly saying to the girls “look girl’s it’s not like we don’t want to hang with you, but how about we go our way and you go yours since I’m pretty sure we’ll both be happy about it”. As I thought about that sentence more I felt more confident as was ready to get my game face on. At last the girls came out of the shop and we walked slowly towards them and began rehearsing our ‘dumping’ speech in our heads.

As we got closer to them, the girls just walked the other way and one girl actually glanced at us and then followed her friends like we were not even there. For a brief period of time there was silence between the lads and I as we just stood there standing for a good 10 minutes I guess before Kecik broke the silence “Dude.....did we just get dumped?”.”.......Yeah...” that was the only reply that H could give and I was too in shock as we were actually dumped before we could even strike a conversation or meet them up close. That was a very shocking experience for the lads and I, but an eye opener at least.

CHAPTER 4: CONSULT THE ALL KNOWING

So after our little clash or getting dumped scenario, me,H and Kecik decided to lightened our dampened feelings as it was the first time we were ever dumped before even saying a word to a girl. How do three guys do this? It’s easy, all we did was go to this mystic land called ‘Toy’s R Us’ and wreck havoc in there. The best thing we did was fencing while skateboarding, it’s a cool sport and I wonder why the Extreme Sports didn’t come up with an event like it as it was awesome fun provided you ignore the stares from parents and grownups in the vicinity.

After a few rounds of so called ‘Extreme Fencing’ we finally found it, the holy grail of all things to come and yet to be for told. The complexity of its orb shape bewildered us and dragged us to it as if a parent calling a child, this thing had the same effect and it’s jet black colour astounded us as we picked it up we could actually hear sounds of angels in our ears.....okay enough drama it’s just a 8-ball that you shake while asking a question and it will give you an answer.

We tried a few factual questions and who would have known, the thing answered correctly, so finally we decided to test it on our future....which I am going to skip for certain reasons, let’s just say we got bad answers and leave it at that. Then we all had a mischievous idea, why not try and see whether A is going to get lucky with his girlfriend and strike second base. We brought the 8-ball to a secluded area of the shop and then chanted together “ Oh glorious 8-ball will A get lucky today?” we said while laughing our heads off as we shook it. We paused for a while before we took a look at the answer it gave. The answer made us scamper like mad and we put it back where it was and went looking for A as the 8-ball decreed “All roads lead to yes”.

As we were looking for A around the mall (I do not know why we did not call him as I would have been easier), we found more 8-balls on sale at Jusco and Metrojaya. We asked the same question and we were astounded that it gave the same answer every single time! We knew that there’s a big If that this actually going to happen as at the time we believed that there was no such thing as coincidences and that we were driven by foolish airhead reasoning. All was we could think of was one thing, “A you lucky bastard” .That was all that we could all think off and we searched the mall high and low for him ,hoping to get a glimpse of the action as we were hoping for some kind of entertainment .

CHAPTER 5: HELL NO!

After an hour of searching and stopping by a hobby shop to get a game board, we finally spotted the two lovebirds near the food court. As we did not want to surprise them we decided to follow them around without getting noticed.”Dude, you really sure we want to do this?” asked Kecik doubting that we were going to actually see A get lucky.”Just follow on dude, quit being a pansy” I snapped and we continued to tail them while ducking behind cover at times.

For what seemed like a good 30 minutes we followed the two lovey dovies around and finally they decided to head for the ground floor, which was a bonus for us since there were tons of exhibition booths assembled that we could hide behind whenever they glanced back. They finally decided to stop and enter a shop and we hid behind an exhibition booth which were packed with ladies, not that we minded them as we were to engrossed by A and his girlfriend, hoping for at least seeing them kiss or something.

Suddenly we saw a saleslady at our side smiling while blushing and we knew something was amiss, we looked around and all the ladies had mixed expressions, embarrassment, anger, and some were laughing.” Dude I think something’s not right” said Kecik.”Yeah man I feel like something’s off about this booth” I replied. After a short period of time, we finally figured it out as the sign was just above our heads; it read “Breast Cancer Examination Booth”. “What the F%^k! Dude we shouldn’t even be here!” exclaimed H. We got ourselves straightened out and walked out of the booth pretending like nothing happened while avoiding eye contact with the ladies in the area. As we did so we could already here the ladies chatting about us in the background and our faces were as red as hell, to make matters worse A saw the whole thing and was also laughing his head off in front of us.....damn we are never going to hear the end of this for years to come, oh well might as well get a kick out of it right?.
PS: This seriously happened and we still get a good laugh out of it after 6 years, and we are all still close together...and I don’t know how to properly end this story.....laters I guess.

Holiday Season

As the title states, the holidays have arrived and it's time to let go of all our burdens from our semester exams and enjoy ourselves :)

But for the moment i would like to reach out to those affected by the floods in Malaysia, my condolences to you and your family.Hopefully our government and our volunteer workers and activist will be able to aid you however they can,be it labor work or donations (yes I donated some too) .

So even though holidays have begun for some of us varsity students, we should all be thankful that some of us are not affected by natural disasters and try to keep things into perspective....in other words don't get your head too up high into the clouds yet for it might just hurt you more when something bad happens,be ready for anything that comes by as anything is possible now since our whole weather pattern is shifting into a weird angle.

However, that does not mean that I am not going to be a "party pooper" and tell you not to indulge into your freedom, all I'm saying just take care of yourselves in the process as something bad might happen. As for me, I am currently chilling at home enjoying a few novels and books, hanging out woth my buds, texting with someone important to me and chatting with my buds from UKM while I have some free time.Probably if i do have financial backup I'll do a little travelling,if not then I'll probably just hang out with my buds and catch up with my family members (yes the whole lot of them).

Finally i would like to wish a very "Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha" to all my muslim friends, may you enjoy the festivities and food to come (Some of you guys didn't think I could remember the name of the raya did you?).That's all for now ladies and gents, till next time,Laters!

Uniqlo

Hey whatup ladies and gents, it's been a while since i blogged due to exam season (don't ask how was it). Anyways we had a week gap because of Deepavali and the princess and a few of my friends were tensed because of their exams (especially those taking Advance Accounting). So how did we solve this problem? we all went for the Uniqlo opening!! wohoo!!! here are a few pics for your viewing. So after waiting for 3 hours, we finally managed to get in and all I can say is that it was worth it as all my buddies who went truly enjoyed themselves and that alone is enough for me to feel relieved as I can be sure none of them are going to breakdown from examination stress.Well that's all for now...will blog more later on after this, laters lads!

Hour Crunch 2010 part 1

FYI I put it as part 1 cause I am damn sure that it's going to happen again next semester. First of i would like to wish Hafidz Baharom a very jolly 27th birthday happy birthday ye old man from your bro and the girl who calls you big and all his buds.

Anyways I would like to apologize to fellow followers for a short hiatus, been busy with ASSignments. At least this time I do feel like I contributed something into our projects even though some of it were kinda last-minute-gun ho-sure-die kind of work.Luckily I had friends and a few of those I hold dear to help me get back up when my mood turned kinda sour or down in the dumps, especially that one special girl who helped me out when I was at the point of overexhaustion (yes I got scolded by her to get some sleep so shaddup you guys).Hopefully I can return the favor for her.

The hour crunch is taking it's toll on a few of the student's as some subjects are also brought forward before Deepavali especially the god forsaken-damn impossible Advance Accounting (Hang in there you all who are taking it).I mean it's damn hard from what I heard and a lot of student's flunked it during the midterm (reminds me of advance engineering math). All I can say is all the best to all of you and hopefully you will pass (for all sarcastic people just bear with it aite?).

Today was the last of my projects due date and presentation, after that me and the guys and the princess went to the Mines to release some tension that has built up. Sadly I think I was more confused than ever cause a certain someone wanted multiple different specs in a new hand phone and went window shopping for it.....I seriously did not understand his preferences as sometimes he kept changing what he wanted but thank god he finally narrowed it down to a few.

Had a late lunch at delifrance while I tried to fight the urge of getting seasick (yes I do get seasick even if I'm near a lake and see water flowing so sue me).To that certain someone, make sure we pack a lot of paperbags when we finally get to go on our cross continent tour okay?.Well that's it for now folks, will try to keep you posted sooner after this.....if possible.

Looooongggg Weeekkkk

Monday

Went out with the twins and one of my best buds to mid valley to get the i phone cable and had teppanyaki for dinner and went for coffee/hot hoc afterwards before going back and continue with tons of ASSignments and read the book I bought ( only those who went should know what book). Had a blast with them although the guy twin did not eat all of his veggies at teppanyaki (wasted if you ask me).All in all a good day

Tuesday

Skipped morning class cause i was exhausted and then went to finance class with a blur mindset (not cool). Then had to accompany the "nephew" to get his hair done at a saloon (WHY ME!?), luckily he knew a simple way of making sure i tag along....little twat..Took bloody 2 hours for him to do his hair 2 Freaking HOURS!!! (PS: keep in mind I've been going to a regular barber since my chilhood). Both of us were extremely pissed at him because of that.Had dinner and someone was in a bad mood and i don't blame her for it...plus I'm used to moody people, I've lived with one person and got 2 nephews who throw tantrums all the time, plus I was hot-headed during my youth.

Wednesday

Had a "Jamuan Raya" at the faculty, had fun with them (excluding or including the fact that the twins got dizzy from eating lamb which they thought was beef...still trying to determine was that a pro or a con?) :), but was dampened with some bad news. Then at night hanged out with them again and then off for some more reading and ASSignments.

Thursday

Has got to be the sh&**iest day ever, couldn't sleep from last night and just found out I left my mp3 player at home (like the great jeremy duncan said, " i get distracted without my distractions"), no wonder i couldn't focus the whole week hahahahaha. But what sucked was that at night i had an exam which was 2 weeks overdue thanks to the lecturer postponing it and we (so called AJK of the class) all had better things to do than think about this paper anymore ( basically we screwed ourselves over). Then after the exam we had a mini quiz plus tutorial until 9.30pm, sorry to those i brought out for dinner for being blur and unresponsive...had a lot on my mind at that moment, had a nice session with someone afterwards via sms and that lightened my mood a bit

Friday

Couldn't sleep the previous night, slept for at least 40 mins before I realised it was 10.30 am and my class was at 11.00 am.With the Speed of Hermes I was up,ready and out the door in 25 mins only to arrive there late due to parking problems. But at least I managed to give the class some form of entertainment, I rammed into the door. My lecturer was laughing her head off and told me to get some sleep. In the afternoon fell asleep during the rain (I get extremely pissed off if I sleep during the rain, I dunno why and usually I can't sleep when it rains...I'm just weird I guess) only to be wokened up later by my room mate who just so needed to listen to britney spears loudly to fall asleep, luckily the idiot was snoring away if not I would have unleashed the Wrath of Zeus (why the hell am I using Greek Gods today as context I don't know). Went to a movie (wallstreet finally!!) and about to head out to see one of my best buds

Happy Raya and gathering of all five bro's

First of all damnnn i was way chubby back then, this photo was nearly 10 years back!.

Anyways happy raya to all my muslim friends( no i will not give you guys duit raya),my family had a blast during raya when we actually for the first time underestimated the number of people who showed up (est.50 total 81!!). So during the 2nd day all of us siblings were all recuperating from cramps and aches all over. I also managed to squeeze time to play games on my 2nd bro's ASUS gaming laptop and chat with someone through out my whole short vacation. Plus on the third day of raya we all celebrated my mums birthday (also underestimated the price at RAKUZEN)

Also to all my friends who didn't believe that i am an uncle (yes i lost the spirit of my youth before hitting 20 so shaddup) well the pic below is proof. Meet my nephews, the one in blue is Farrell while the other is Sheridan a.k.a Dan Dan!. Although they are a handful i gotta admit my uncle senses still think they are adorable despite the fact that they put the chaos theory in to pratical use

The whole point is sometimes even though i am still considered an anti-social bloke, i still enjoy spending time with my loved ones including both family and friends...despite the fact of our yearly cumulative disputes sometimes we do see eye to eye and appreciate each other for that. Some moments in our life are just too precious to be bugged up by books and academia (my opinion anyway). As far as relationship status goes i'm gonna take it slow and i don't care what people say about it, i have a 16th century mind set and also think that a girl should have all the time in the world before commiting themselves in a relationship (oprah). So i ain't to keen in rushing things and probably see how things turn out, besides i still don't understand what a girl thinks/wants that much (blame it on being in a all guy sibling group). Therefore i'm thinking of understanding the opposite sex more before i seek a solid relationship or unless the opposite sex confesses first (Nuar i'm blaming you on this for showing me too many japanese drama where the girl confesses to the guy first hahahahaha)

Guys perpective on asking a girl out and friendship

I'll start by saying this, I don't think this perspective is accurate, it's just based on two of my friends past experience in relationships.According to them a guy will always think of the worst possible outcome before they confess to the girl they like (getting rejected, the girl already has a bf, she's not interested, etc). I found this way of thinking interesting since well shouldn't the dude be you know.....be more confident? but my friends say that's not the case.as guys are usually the most nervous when asking a girl out or confessing. Well hell's bells I don't know how to tell whether this is true or not since I'm also a noob in this field. Maybe next time I'll ask some of my female friends for their own opinion.....

Anyways, I went to watch step up 3 for the 2nd time around with the other stooges (Nuar and Hazri). Sadly Nada could'nt join cause she was heading home to Shah Alam and also she got a case of the flu (errr which may also be my fault to begin with :( ). I wish her luck and hopefully she'll recover soon before her exam this Saturday. I also had a blast with the dudes having simple empty conversations and chilling out, although we gotta apologize to Baha who we left waiting outside a door while we went to watch a movie (sorry dude!). Well as how did the movie went, it was ok although we were stuck with the 12.40 am show (aw sh&*t!) but all in all it was still enjoyable, Nuar was tempted to dance.....and so was I (didn't want to admit it then). I highly recommend this movie to those who are just looking for a movie to release some steam vented up from studies or exams, who knows maybe you could learn to bust a few moves...

Oh yeah a few hours ago I broke fast with some of the accounting students, Science Management class lasted only 1 hour ! (I nearly kissed the floor when our lecturer announced that today's class was gonna be short).Me, Caiz,Suhaimi and Muzammil were all invited to break fast with the other student's and I just found out that the dudes are slowly going extinct....where the hell did the others go?. The meal was good though for 5 bucks (Chicken rice, fruits, drinks and some snacks).Seriously I can't imagine the last time I hanged out with my accounting batch, the whole lot of them; all I know is that they are always a blast to be hang with sometimes....especially when they do crazy stuff. Kudos to all you guys for invited me to the gathering, I truly enjoyed myself :).

"Truth"

I guess by now I'm probably using this blog as a way to let out my opinions. Okay here's the first agenda me and my best bud talked about:

"Truth"

What do we define as truth as these days? not telling a lie? being oneself? or just speaking up to what you believe in? ."Truth is presented to have a variety of meanings, from the state of being the case, being in accord with a particular fact or reality, being in accord with the body of real things, events, actuality, or fidelity to an original or to a standard, truth "behind" everything, the ontological truth. In archaic usage it could be fidelity, constancy or sincerity in action, character, and utterance.Various theories and views of truth continue to be debated among scholars and philosophers. There are differing claims on such questions as what constitutes truth; what things are truthbearers capable of being true or false; how to define and identify truth; the roles that revealed and acquired knowledge play; and whether truth is subjective, relative, objective, or absolute" (Quoted from wikikpedia). As you can see there are many different approaches to tackle this meaning, should this also mean that truth itself has varied meaning for each individual? Perhaps as some people in this modern age has opposed to the pure meaning of being truthful as some deem it to be overrated.

Well then how should we define truth as now? Is it not to be true to your feelings and speak honestly (Quote from Amir). Well in his opinion for example in terms of love, a rose shows truth of ones feelings for the other. I can't be sure of this context since me myself have not been in a relationship but it's still nice to see that there are still some who still deem the truth as the best possible solution and not overrated.Although I admit I'm still kinda nervous on using your advice dude, I'll let you know how it goes out later on. As you see this days, some relationships are based on 100% lies; you see a few of this cases in USA as girls falling head over heels for a guy and only to find out how full of S&*t he is after they get married. I mean being a former American oriented dude I cannot feel anything but disgust for these individual males who tend to prey on helpless women searching for true love(goes against my code of ethics). What ever happened to relationships based on the being yourselves towards each other? or has that way of thinking also fade into extinction? Well the maybe I should have been extinct with it....

But is that all truth has been limited to? Love? cause clearly I can't see it being used in other departments that well as we see extortion, smuggling, black markets, laundering and under-bidding going around the world and it sometimes feels kid of depressing that we have come to that stage that the truth is sometimes based on lies in order to gain self benefits. Well hopefully to the youth today, (I don't consider myself a youth anymore) you guys can be better judge of character and try being truthful to each other so that we can finally end this long term cycle of lies...

Fairytale Life

As you all can see the pic above is all the descendent of my bloodline and yes they are royalty. My fathers side is the royalty of a place called Langkat in Medan. This family tree was given to my dad who had little proof once that we were in fact a part of royalty. I know the pic sucks so bear with me, my great grandfather was the poet Tengku Amir Hamzah (pic above the family tree) ; the one who died during the East Sumateran Social Revolution. For once after knowing this fact made me feel like one of this days maybe I do intend to go back to the land of our ancestors for a visit.

A little while ago my best friend Amir also pointed out that he just found out that his girlfriend of nearly 3 years now, Eyn is in fact also royalty ( I will not point out from where due to the personal matters). Apparently his girlfriend is also the neighbour of two of my Uncle's, both whom are also of high status. One is (although not 100% certain) is one of the prince's of Kelantan while the other one was a general of the royal army....and one of the few who was actually invited to West-Point! . After deliberating a few more hours on this matter, Amir made a bold statement that he always wanted to marry a princess hahahaha well whatever you have my support dude( Hell we've already known each other 10++ years). Well Amir may want a princess but as for yours truly, I just want a girl who is very understanding and independent, as those traits are like gems to me. For me, I would gladly pick a girlfriend who is not dependent on status but on the mutual respect one has for one another, status to me isn't everything. ( not wife, it's impossible to jump to final stage if you haven't even completed the first stage).A girl who is able to speak her mind, not afraid of standing up to what she believes in, now that for me is what I define as a very nice girlfriend. If it's not asking much please let her also have some ladylike qualities....( is this bias?) like the great lady Susan B. Anthony :) (yeah just had UKM's womens day, so I googled for info, so sue me).

Anyway's after a veryyyy long chat with my best bud, we finally did come to terms that each and everyone of us do live in a fairytale, each individual does have a fairytale dream since childhood and I think it would be a shame if that dream is not able to be brought into reality.Even so, one must not forget that reality can be harsh on everyone, be it the youth or the adults. But it is sometimes through this fairytale that one has accomplished that we all seek closure in during the bad times and somehow it does help to brighten your mood.Okay that's it for this post, the next post is about the main agenda of me and Amir's discussion last night, "truth"

A Grim future but a hopeful Present?

Just got back from hanging out with one of my best friends , Nada. Just couldn't stand to see her down and out after Advance Accounting paper. Apparently in her opinion she said it's 20 times harder than Corporate Finance, a paper we are both taking and the one I did not sleep and studied until after the exam.....this does not bode well for my second semester as a senior since then it will be my turn to suffer (pretty sure she's waiting for that too).

So we both went out with a spur of the moment plan to watch a movie and grab her hot hazelnut hot chocolate (promised her a week back, to all my shah alam buds i know it's a little late than usual for me to keep a promise so shut up, we had exams). We wanted to bring along our Accounting club president along but couldn't contact him at first since he left his phone at the exam hall (Dude!!). We still found it hilarious that he was suppose to meet an old chap of his in shah alam ( Me and Nada are both from Shah Alam, there's nothing there after 10! eehhh except for kopitiam's and mamak's).

We finally arrived at Alamanda thinking that it's closing hours so there should'nt be any crowd right? WRONG we forgot tonight was a Saturday night (blame the admin for making our exams on saturday so we thought it was a weekday). Anyways we wanted to watch step up 3D ( I actually wanted to make my so called campus "nephew" jealous, muahahahaha) but it was fully booked. So we opted for Grownups....and the movie did not dissapoint!. Although I still think it should be a PG 18 instead of a PG 13.....veerrryyyy funny and yet flashy movie ( there goes all my pahala from fasting). We also managed to seek in our starbucks drink without getting caught (bonus!)

So the conclusion to all of this is, in my personal belief is that after a day that has thrown you down the waterhole and perhaps even sunk you to the bottom of the sea, I think you should at least give yourself a pat on the back and say "hey I did my best, what's done is done". One usually always feel depressed after not being able to score or answer a paper, But that will only damper your resolve afterwards. So to all my friends who took advance accounting this semester I'll say this, I'll be proud of all of you whether or not you score or didn't... at least you fought until the end. Now go and put a smile on your face and wipe does tears of agony and concentrate on the next agenda at hand. (Damn why the hell am I getting so hyped on you guys,is this what they call the point of adulthood?)

Turning a negative back into a positive

Okay i know i haven't been blogging for months, didn't have the heart to due to the fact that a S&*tload of stuff happened. But on a lighter note i've decided it's pointless to be moody and depressed over every single thing that turns sour. That's why i've decided to focus on less subjects this year and extend my years in this funky varsity.

The reason i was able to pull myself out of my deep dark and oblivious hole was my friends, don't know what i would do without them.Seriously friends are important guys, especially those who are TRUE friends (not the ones there for your fame and fortune). I would like this opportunity to thank my best friends Hazri, Nuar, Amir, Shahiran and Abdul Afiq. I would still be mopping my ass in that state of depression. Anyways this new sem I'm already a senior ( yes I'm a frikkin 3rd year now) met up with friends that i nearly lost touch with, especially the accounting student's....I promise to rebond my relations with them some time soon (hopefully before you graduate). Been hanging out with the dudes and another close friend of mine Nada who I think is cool ( she's awesome yawl no joke!) to hang out with, apparently we have a lot of things in common as well (Finally a girl who is understanding or on the same boat (she has a dilemma with her douche-bag YDP college like I did in matriculation) :D .

Anyways my only advice is don't beat yourself up to much....life only comes around once and there's no turning back. So the hell if it takes me 5 years in UKM, i'll take it as long as my bonds with my friends will never break.Oh and for those of you who are still betting to see if i'm single or not....i'll leave it up to you to decide ( seriously, you guys have been hounding me since year 1 so i'm pretty sure you should know me by now and that sometimes i'm full of surprises....or not ) :)

It's Been a While...

Damn straight it's been a while since i blogged, didn't have any ideas on what to blog about. Anyways what is there to know? hmmm my cgpa is like 3.21, been having a heck of a time with my buds even though they are economic majors and most of them are diploma takers.Been hanging out with my buds Baha, Nuar , Hazri and also f&*king pissed at my bud Halil for having some personal breakdown and whom is now confirmed barred for 4/6 of his subjects (seriously mate WTF!!!). Anyways on monday went to the laundromat with Nuar and Hazri and that place was having water pressure issues( it was raining heavily dammit!) so me and nuar had to go back and forth from petronas while stealing someones baldi and got really drenched. To make matters worse some couples were making out in front of us ( me and nuar were like DAMMIT how long are we gonna be stuck single!!). To add more fuel to our depressed + pissed state our clothes finally got dry at 6 am!!!.But in the end of the day i did have a blast with my buds, especially when we did a karaoke session in Nuar's Kancil singing The Beattles Songs ( Cool Weyh!!)
